1. About Roam & Roar Safari

Roam & Roar Safari is an independent, privately owned safari booking operator based in Ramnagar, Uttarakhand, India, registered as a Micro Enterprise under the Ministry of MSME, Government of India.

We are not the official website of Jim Corbett National Park and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Uttarakhand Forest Department, the Government of India, or any government authority in any official capacity.

We act as a facilitator — helping tourists plan and book safari experiences at Jim Corbett National Park through licensed local operators and government-approved channels.

2. Services Provided

Roam & Roar Safari provides the following services:

• Safari booking assistance — Jeep Safari, Canter Safari, Elephant Ride
• Dhikala zone jeep safari and stay booking assistance
• Government permit facilitation on behalf of the customer
• Safari trip planning and itinerary advice
• Coordination with licensed local guides and vehicle operators

3. Booking & Payment

All bookings made through Roam & Roar Safari are subject to availability of government-issued permits and licensed vehicle operators.

• Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of full or agreed advance payment
• Government permit fees are separate and paid directly to relevant authorities
• Our service charges cover coordination, planning, and operator arrangement only
• All prices quoted are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise
• Payment receipts will be provided for all transactions

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

The following cancellation policy applies to our service charges. Government permit fees are subject to the Forest Department's own refund rules and are outside our control.

Cancellations must be communicated in writing via WhatsApp or email. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted.

5. Rescheduling

Rescheduling of a confirmed booking is subject to permit and operator availability on the new requested date. Rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours before the original safari date. We will make every effort to accommodate your request but availability depends solely on the forest department.

6. Safari Rules & Guest Responsibilities

All guests must comply with the rules and regulations of Jim Corbett National Park as set by the Uttarakhand Forest Department. Key rules include:

• Guests must carry valid government-issued photo ID on the day of the safari
• Entry into the park is permitted only during designated safari hours
• Guests must not make loud noises, litter, or disturb wildlife
• Feeding wildlife is strictly prohibited
• Guests must remain in the safari vehicle at all times unless permitted by the guide
• Consumption of alcohol inside the park is prohibited
• Photography of wildlife is permitted but flash photography is strictly banned

7. Wildlife & Force Majeure

Wildlife sightings, including tiger sightings, depend entirely on natural movements. Jim Corbett National Park is a natural wildlife habitat, and animal behaviour is unpredictable. We do not offer refunds based on the absence of specific wildlife sightings.

We are not liable for cancellations or changes caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

• Park closure by Forest Department or government authorities
• Extreme weather conditions
• Natural disasters or calamities
• Government-imposed restrictions or curfews

In such cases, we will make every effort to reschedule your booking or provide a fair resolution.

8. Liability

Roam & Roar Safari acts solely as a booking facilitator. We are not responsible for:

• Any injury, accident, or loss during the safari
• Actions or negligence of third-party vehicle operators or guides
• Loss or damage to personal belongings during the safari
• Permit rejections by the Forest Department

Guests participate in safari activities at their own risk. We strongly recommend travel insurance for all visitors.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of Roam & Roar Safari. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of any content from this website is strictly prohibited.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of our services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Ramnagar / Nainital, Uttarakhand.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
